Pastor Mike Sturgell

Greetings! I’m Michael Sturgell, pastor of New Beginnings Church in Blanchard, Oklahoma. What started as a small home gathering with just a few families has grown into a vibrant congregation. By God’s grace, our attendance has steadily increased, and we’re now building a new church across the street to welcome our growing community!

What We Believe

The Word

We believe what the Bible says—nothing more, nothing less. The Word of God is living and powerful, guiding us in truth, shaping our hearts, and leading us into a life that honors Christ.

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God—fully God and fully man—who gave His life for us and rose again in victory. Through Him, we find forgiveness, freedom, and the promise of new beginnings and eternal life.

Salvation

We believe salvation is a gift of grace received through faith in Jesus Christ. It’s not earned by works, but freely given to all who call on His name and choose to follow Him.
